Over the past few years, we have typed into Excel and Word two diaries that were written by people in the early 19th Century, immersing ourselves in the detailed accounts of their daily lives, struggles, and triumphs. It was a wonderful experience to learn about what people did in those days, providing us with a rich tapestry of historical context and insights into their thoughts and emotions. We are also transcribing a journal that was written in the ’90s and in the present, which offers a fascinating contrast to the earlier diaries, and the author, who is a talented artist, is dictating reflections on their creative process and contemporary issues. Furthermore, we’re retyping in a custom-made template information from a British newspaper about someone who was famous a long time ago; this endeavor not only highlights the impact of that individual’s life and work but also allows us to delve into the cultural and social landscape of the time, drawing connections between past and present in a vivid and engaging manner.
You see all the things a word processing company can transcribe? We’ve also transcribed hearings, tribunals, police interviews, documentaries and feature films.
